You have to think about it -- that means the stealthy exotic looking sports car from Japan travels a quarter mile in under 10 seconds from a cold start... and it is unlikely the car would have top ended by the time it reached the 1/4 mile mark.

AMS Performance has broken the 9 second barrier for very first time with its tuned Nissan GT-R. By using a SR850 upgrade package the vehicle becomes – as far as we know – the fastest GT-R on the planet.

They haven’t gained any weight within the car. The weight package is all stock. While watching the video you will see the AMS Performance Nissan GT-R performing a quarter mile run in 9.89 seconds and achieving a top speed of 146.9mph. That is more than 230km/h. Impressive!
